Ein christologischer Entwurf aus dem Dialog zwischen Dogmatik und Liturgie sowie zwischen Judentum und Christentum.
Christologie begründet die Rede von Jesus als dem Christus, d. h. dem Messias Gottes. Sie vertritt also einen theologischen Wahrheitsanspruch. Wird die Christologie jedoch nur von der Wahrheitsfrage bestimmt, kann sie leicht den lebendigen Zugang des Glaubens zur geheimnisvollen und unvergleichlichen Individualität Jesu verstellen. Dieser Gefahr begegnet der Autor durch eine mystagogische Christologie. Sie ist orientiert an den Hochfesten der erneuerten Römischen Liturgie. Der Autor führt zur Mystik dieses Festkreises hin und erschlieÃt die Gestalt Jesu Christi in ihrer Heilsbedeutsamkeit.
25 Jahre nach dem Ersterscheinen wird dieser christologische Entwurf in erweiterter Form präsentiert.

Jesus' way - Our way: A Christological draft from the dialogue between dogmatics and liturgy as well as between Judaism and Christianity.
Christology justifies the speech of Jesus as the Christ, i.e. the Messiah of God. It thus represents a theological claim to truth. But if Christology is only determined by the question of truth, it can easily obstruct the living access of faith to the mysterious and incomparable individuality of Jesus. The author counters this danger with a mystagogical Christology. It is oriented to the high feasts of the renewed Roman liturgy. The author leads to the mysticism of this festive circle and reveals the salvific significance of the figure of Jesus Christ.

Josef Wohlmuth (geb. 1938) war bis 2003 Professor für Dogmatik an der Rheinischen Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. Die Theologische Fakultät der Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg verlieh ihm 2009 und die Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt 2014 die Ehrendoktorwürde.
