1. The Jordanian Constitution was published in the Official Gazette (Jordan) No.1093 dated Jan. 8, 1952. Article 9.1 reads: "No Jordanian may be deported from the Kingdom." 2. The Official Gazette (Palestine), No. 1442, Supp.2, dated Sept. 27, 1945, at 1338. 3. Article 128 reads: "All laws, regulations and other existing legislative acts that are in force in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan at the date of the enforce- ment of this Constitution shall remain in force until they are repealed or amended by legislation passed in accordance there."
