Abstract
The 54th Pacific Islands Forum was held in Honiara, Solomon Islands, from 8 to 12 September 2025. Besides the Heads of State and Heads of Government, the Forum was attended by Associate Members, CROP organisations, and the Office of the Pacific Ocean Commissioner. Forum Leaders also engaged with representatives from civil society and the private sector. Dialogue Partners and Observers were excluded from participating. The Forum Leaders discussed important issues relating to the regional and strategic environment, political leadership and regionalism, resource and economic development, peace and security, climate change, the ocean, people centred development, and technology and connectivity.
