A number of species belonging to the Fam. Cantharidae and Malachiidae (Col.), are reported which are partly new to science or were not reported from Israel until now Four species of Malthodes (Cantharidae), and two species and a subspecies of Malachiidae are described as new. A key of the species of Malthodes from Israel, is given.
