A small quantity of material of Nematoda from the freshwaters around the Dead Sea is studied. The freshwater springs and brooks of En Gedi are inhabited by Paractinolaimus microdentatus, Tripyla papillota, Dorylaimus stagnalis, Mesodorylaimus subtilis, and Aporcelaimus sp.

The species Paractinolaimus microdentatus till now known from a single female specimen from North America, is described from a rich material, containing also males, and is compared with P. macrolaimus.

From the slightly mineral spring of En Hakikar (south of the Dead Sea) a specimen of Oncholaimium is reported. This marine genus has till now only three species in continental waters.
