This thirty-chapter book, exploring issues in law, economics and politics of Eurasian regionalization comprises an introduction, seventeen previously published articles, eleven original chapters, and conclusions. The idea for this book was planted in September 2018 when we offered to work on an edited-journal-issue project tentatively titled ‘Changing Paradigms of Dispute Resolution and Investment Protection in the Post-Soviet and Greater Eurasian Space’ to the Transnational Dispute Management journal (tdm) published by Maris B.V. The call for papers was released in February 2019, most of the articles were submitted in July-August 2019. And the issue was released in late December 2019 as the first issue of 2020 [{(2020) 17(1)].1 We had invited Daria Kotova, Anton Tugushev, and yip Ka Lok to the editorial board of that tdm issue and we are very grateful to the co-editors for their co-operation, efficient review of several articles and invaluable comments made during that process. We also thank tdm editor-in-chief Mark Kantor for accepting our initial proposal and also helping with the review of a few articles. In the meantime, we invited several original papers, including in the fields of economics, political science, international relations and area studies, to add to the selection of mostly legal tdm articles to combine them in this multi-disciplinary book. We are very grateful to the Maris B.V. for agreeing to the use of that material, and Maris’ editorial team for coordinating their efforts with contributors and with the editorial team of Brill Nijhoff.
