is Course Leader
Nikolina Babić
is Teaching Assistant at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Banja Luka. Her recent article is “Socialist and Social Democratic Parties in the Political System of the Republic of Srpska” (Defendologija 2021). Her research areas are political systems and local government.
Lejla Balić
is Associate Professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Sarajevo. Her scientific research interests are federalism, democratisation, parliamentary and electoral law, and European public law. She has published the monograph European Union: Parliament and Democratization (University of Sarajevo Press 2020.)
Damir Banović
is Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, University of Sarajevo, where he teaches Philosophy of Law. His main research focus is on contemporary socio-legal theory, theory of collective rights, minority rights, consociationalism, and comparative federalism.
Dražen Barbarić
is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Mostar, and Head of the Expert Team of the Institute for the Social and Political Research Mostar (idpi). His areas of scientific interests are political theory, geopolitics, and security studies.
Tahir Herenda
is a Ph.D. candidate at the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo, where he is also a Senior Teaching and Research Assistant. His research is focused on deeply divided societies.
Nedim Hogić
is a legal scholar and researcher of Comparative Public Law. He holds a Ph.D. from Sant’ Anna School of Advanced Studies and an ll.m. from Harvard Law School. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Oslo.
Harun Išerić
is Senior Research and Teaching Assistant in Administrative Law and Administration, and a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Sarajevo. His research interests encompass constitutional and human rights law, comparative administrative law and procedure, and elections and media.
Joseph Marko
is Professor Emeritus of Comparative Public Law and Political Sciences, University of Graz. He served as International Judge at the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina (1997–2002) and Politico-legal advisor of the
Goran Marković
is Full Professor of Constitutional Law at the Faculty of Law, University of East Sarajevo. His areas of interest are federalism, direct democracy and self-management, and systems of government. He published more than 100 scientific articles and four books. The recent books are Ustavno pravo and Ustavni lavirint: Aporije ustavnog sistema Bosne i Hercegovine (Službeni glasnik Beograd 2021).
Marko Romić
is a Ph.D. candidate in Public Law at the University of Belgrade and an Assistant Lecturer at the University of Banja Luka. Administrative law and public administration, legal history and state-church law are among his main academic interests. His book Neustavnost zakona i upravni akti was published in 2023 (Institute for Comparative Law, Belgrade).
Maja Sahadžić
is Assistant Professor of Constitutional Law at the School of Law and Researcher at Montaigne Centre for Rule of Law and Administration of Justice (Utrecht University), Visiting Professor (University of Antwerp), Senior Research Fellow (Law Institute in BiH), Fellow (Netherlands Institute of Human Rights – sim), and Affiliated Scholar (Centre for Comparative and Transnational Law at cuhk). She is Co-chair of the Committee on New Directions in Scholarship of the icon s.
Tatjana Sekulić
is Associate Professor of Political Sociology at the Department of Sociology and Social Research, University of Milano-Bicocca. Main fields of her research concern the European integration in polycentric perspective; forced migration studies; new wars and contemporary conflicts; and democratic transition of post-totalitarian regimes.
Bojan Vlaški
is Assistant Professor of Administrative Law and Public Administration at the University of Banja Luka. He has written dozens of scientific papers that relate to the right to a good administration, public data, market competition, federalism, and intergovernmental relations.
Nevenko Vranješ
is Associate Professor of Political Science at the University of Banja Luka. His research interests are related to public administration, political systems, local self-government, and administrative law. Author of three books and many scientific articles, he assumed the office of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina in September 2022.
Jens Woelk
is Full Professor of Comparative Constitutional Law at the University of Trento (Italy). He also works at the Institute for Comparative Federalism (Eurac Research) in Bolzano/Bozen. His research interests include federalism/regionalism, minority rights, and the constitutional transformation processes in Southeast Europe.
