Zusammenfassung

Diese Untersuchung des Verbalsystems des biblischen Hebräischen tut dies auf zwei neue Arten. Erstens handelt es sich um den Text eines prophetischen Buches aus der frühen persischen Zeit (Secharja) und nicht um einen vorexilischen Text aus der ersten Tempelzeit (1. Mose—2. Könige). Zweitens geht es um die Frage nach der Bedeutung der biblischen hebräischen Verbformen in Prosa und Poesie unter Verwendung hauptsächlich semantischer Standardkategorien wie Tempus, Aspekt und Modalität.

Das Hauptargument dieses Buches besagt, dass das Verbalsystem des biblischen Hebräischen in drei Bereichen einheitlich und konsistent ist: semantische Funktion, literarische Einheit und diachronische Konsistenz. (1) Semantische Funktion, in dem Sinne, dass die Verbformen ihre semantischen Funktionen unabhängig vom Genre oder Abschnitt von Sacharja beibehalten. In der Anwendung bedeutet dies, dass qatal, yiqtol und andere Verbformen auch in der Poesie ihre Funktionen behalten, obwohl sie einem breiteren Spektrum pragmatischer und syntaktischer Einflüsse unterliegen können. (2) Literarische Einheit, damit das Sprachsystem keine Unterschiede aufweist, die mit den Hauptteilungen von Sacharja korrelieren (d.h. Sach. 1–8 und Sach. 9–14). (3) Diachronische Konsistenz: Das Verbalsystem zeigt einen Charakter, der mit dem Hebräischen des ersten Teils der persischen Periode übereinstimmt.

Schließlich zeigt diese Studie, dass Sacharja Anzeichen einer Betonung des Tempus (mit sekundärer Betonung des Aspekts) zeigt, obwohl sie anerkennt, dass andere Erklärungen möglich sind.

Résumé

Cette étude du système linguistique de l’hébreu biblique est fait en deux nouvelles approches. Premièrement, il s’agit d’un texte d’un livre prophétique du premier temp perse (Zacharie) et pas d’un texte préexilique du premier temps du temple (Genèse—2 rois). Deuxièmement, il s’agit de la signification des formes verbeuses hébraïques bibliques en prose et en poésie en utilisant principalement des catégories standard sémantiques comme le tempus, l’aspect et la modalité.

L’argument principal est que le système verbal de l’hébreu biblique est uniforme et cohérent dans trois domaines: la fonction sémantique, l’unité littéraire et la cohérence diachrone. (1) Fonction sémantique, dans le sens que les formes verbales conservent leurs fonctions sémantiques indépendamment du genre ou de la section de Zacharie. Appliqué, cela signifie que qatal, yiqtol et autres formes de verbes conservent également leurs fonctions dans la poésie, bien qu’ils puissent être soumis à un éventail plus large d’influences pragmatiques et syntaxiques. (2) Unité littéraire pour que le système de langage ne présente pas de différences corrélées avec les divisions principales de Zacharie (c’est-à-dire Sach 1–8 et Sach 9–14). (3) Cohérence diachrone: Le système verbal montre un caractère qui coïncide avec l’hébreu biblique de transition.

Enfin, cette étude montre que Zacharie montre des signes d’accentuation de tempus (avec une accentuation secondaire de l’aspect), tout en reconnaissant que d’autres explications sont possibles.

‮תקציר‬‎

‮מחקר זה של מערכת הפועל של העברית המקראית חוקר אותה בשתי דרכים חדשות. ראשית, הוא עוסק בספר נבואה מהתקופה הפרסית המוקדמת (ספר זכריה) במקום בטקסט מתקופת בית ראשון (בראשית–מלכים ב’); ושנית, הוא דן בשאלת משמעות צורות הפועל של העברית המקראית בפרוזה ובשירה, תוך שימוש בעיקר בקטגוריות הסמנטיות המקובלות, דוגמת זמן, אספקט ומודליות.‬‎

‮הטיעון העיקרי של הספר הוא שמערכת הפועל של העברית המקראית היא אחידה ועקבית בשלוש בחינות: תפקוד סמנטי, אחידות ספרותית ועקביות דיאכרונית. (‭1‬) תפקוד סמנטי, בכך שצורות הפועל מקיימות את תפקידיהן הסמנטיים ללא קשר לסוגה או לחלק של ספר זכריה. באופן מעשי, משמעות הדבר היא שצורות קטל, יקטל, ושאר צורות הפועל מקיימות את תפקידן גם בשירה, אם כי בה הן נתונות למבחר רחב יותר של השפעות פרגמטיות וספרותיות. (‭2‬) אחידות ספרותית, בכך שמערכת הפועל אינה מציגה הבדלים בהתאמה לחלקים הראשיים של ספר זכריה (פרקים א־ח, ט־יד). (‭3‬) עקביות דיאכרונית: מערכת הפועל מציגה אופי שתואם את העברית המקראית המאוחרת.‬‎

‮בנוסף, מחקר זה מציג סימנים של התבלטות הזמן (עם התבלטות משנית של האספקט), אם כי הוא מודה באפשרות של הסברים אחרים.‬‎
