DARA ENJOYING HAVANA (2016)
This book is dedicated to Dr. Dara E. Goldman, who passed away just before Sexuality and Eroticism in a Post-pandemic World: Beyond the Biopolitics of the New Normal was published. From the beginning of this project Dara was a driving force of positivity; excited to share her tremendous intellectual insights, professional—yet selfless—in all responses and correspondence, quick to complete revisions; but thorough with her work, she was genuinely enthusiastic at all levels of interaction—whether offering suggestions for expanding research, or recommending delicious Cuban food when someone expressed culinary questions. Dara was a professor of Spanish and mentored a few of the authors presented in this work, she was a colleague of the Prague Group and a friend to us all. Her final academic work, posthumously published here, demonstrates resilience, forbearance and humour. We are honoured that Dara E. Goldman contributed to this project.
