Philipp Ambach
is Chief of the Victims Participation and Reparations Section at the International Criminal Court (icc). He previously served as the icc President’s Special Assistant for over six years. Before that, he worked at the UN ad hoc tribunals icty and ictr as a legal adviser to the Judges of the Appeals Chamber. Prior to that, he worked as an associate legal officer in the icty Registry. Mr. Ambach holds a Ph.D. in international criminal law from Free University of Berlin and has been admitted as prosecutor in the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Cologne, Germany. He obtained his Masters degree in law in 2004 from Humboldt-University of Berlin, Germany.

David Donat Cattin
has been the Secretary-General of Parliamentarians for Global Action (‘pga’) from 2014 to March 2023. He holds a post-doctorate diploma from the Centre for Studies and Research of The Hague Academy of International Law (2002), a Ph.D. in Public International Law (2000) from the Faculty of Law of the University of Teramo (Italy) and a Law Degree from luiss-Guido Carli University at Rome. She was a prosecutor and appeals counsel at the UN International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. She served as the first Legal Advisor for sexual and gender-based crimes at the International, Impartial and Independent Mechanism for Syria (the iiim Syria). She was Gender Advisor for the UN Investigation on Sri Lanka and Senior Advisor to the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission of The Gambia. In 2021, Priya was appointed by the UN Human Rights Council to the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, as the member from the Asia-Pacific region. She holds a ll.m in Public International Law (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a b.a. Jurisprudence (Hons) from the University of Oxford, where she was a UK Commonwealth Chevening Scholar from Malaysia.
Piotr Hofmański
is President of the International Criminal Court. He holds a Ph.D. from the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Prior to joining the Court, he has been Professor of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where he holds a Chair in Criminal Procedure Law. He has also served as judge of the Criminal Chamber of the Polish Supreme Court.

Karim Khan

Peter Lewis
was elected Registrar of the International Criminal Court (icc) on 28 March 2018 for a period of five years and was sworn in on 17 April 2018. Before joining the Court, Mr Lewis was Chief Executive of the Crown Prosecution Service (cps) in England and Wales between 2007 and 2016. Mr Lewis was a UK delegate to the United Nations Preparatory Commission for the Rules of Procedure and Evidence of the icc in 1999–2000 and a member of the expert working group on the draft regulations of the icc Office of the Prosecutor. Mr Lewis was made a companion of the Order of the Bath in the Queen’s birthday honours list in 2012.
