Matthew Paugh
While Matt was a student at agts, he approached me for a ta practicum at Evangel University. Since then he has become a dear friend and fellow scholar. Matt became and remains my primary conversation partner for all things Lukan (and a host of other theological, political, and ecclesial matters). He and I have been sps / sbl roommates for some twenty years; we could write a book about conversations and our “create a memory” days in cities across the country. He read every essay in this volume ahead of publication. We are co-readers of Luke and in turn co-messengers to our respective communities.
