Acknowledgements
In the first instance, we would like to acknowledge the Bundjalung Country of the Arakwal people upon which much of this work was completed. We pay our respects to the traditional custodians of the land and Elders past and present, who have cared for that Country for thousands of generations. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and that this Country always was and always will be, Aboriginal land. We are grateful to be able to live and work here.
We would also like to recognise the support of the Faculty of Education at Southern Cross University, Australia, specifically in their funding of the writing retreats that make the development such collections possible. In particular, we acknowledge the support of the Sustainability, Environment and the Arts in Education (SEAE) Research Cluster and its members for their enduring support of our projects and each other. It is a unique community of practice.
Thanks also goes to Katie Hotko, who has worked diligently and with constant good humour to support the assembling of this book, and who also opened the doors of Diptipur to all in the SEAE Research Cluster.
