Elena Fasoli
is Associate Professor of international law at the University of Trento (Italy). She obtained her Ph.D. in international law at the University of Milan. She has been external consultant to the Ministry of the environment of Italy from 2009 to 2013 and was a member of the unece Aarhus Convention Compliance Committee from 2014 to 2017. She has published in the fields of international and EU environmental law, international litigation and State responsibility.
Malgosia Fitzmaurice
is Professor of International Law at Queen Mary University of London. She is a member of the l’Institut de Droit International and was awarded a Doctoris Honoris Causa of the University of Neuchatel. She is an Editor in Chief of the International Community Law review and book series Queen Mary Studies in International Law. She has published on the subjects of the law of treaties, international environmental law; water law and indigenous peoples.
Fabio Giuffrida
Ph.D. (2019), Queen Mary University of London, is Policy Officer at the European Commission. He has authored several articles and studies concerning different aspects of EU criminal law, including a study on the role of EU agencies in the fight against transnational environmental crime, and recently co-edited a volume on the establishment of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Valsamis Mitsilegas
is Professor of European Criminal Law and Global Security at Queen Mary University of London. He has been Director of the Queen Mary Criminal Justice Centre since 2011. He is a member of the European Criminal Law Academic Network (eclan) and of the Commission’s Expert Group on EU Criminal Policy. He is the author of seven books and over 150 articles and chapters in the areas of European and transnational criminal law, including in the fields of financial and environmental crime.
