Conventions and Abbreviations
Transliterations
I have used Latinised versions only of the most familiar Greek names (place names, e.g. Athens, Corinth, Plataea; names of canonical Greek authors, e.g. Aeschylus, Herodotus, Thucydides) and all Latin personal names.
