Abbreviations
Abbreviations in this volume generally follow the guidelines set out in the SBL Handbook of Style (2nd ed., Atlanta: Society of Biblical Literature, 2014). References to biblical and related literature in German chapters are abbreviated according to S.M. Schwertner, IATG3—Internationales Abkürzungsverzeichnis für Theologie und Grenzgebiete (3rd ed., Berlin: de Gruyter, 2014). For New Testament manuscripts the sigla of NA27/28 are used.
