Abstract

This special report introduces three independent but interrelated Taiwan studies organizations: (1) Centre of Taiwan Studies (CTS), School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), University of London; (2) European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS); and (3) International Journal of Taiwan Studies (IJTS). By charting the growth of the CTS, EATS, and IJTS, the report observes the trajectories of European Taiwan studies and how the field is evolving toward its global development.
