Christiana Constantopoulou
is Professor of Sociology of Communication, Dept. of Sociology Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences (Athens, Greece). Author of many scientific articles and monographic works (mostly in Greek, French and English but also translated in Portuguese and Bulgarian), focusing essentially on the âcommunicational structures of the contemporary societiesâ. Active member of the âAssociation Internationale des Sociologues de Langue Françaiseâ, and elected member of the executive board (1996â2000, 2000â2004 and 2008â2012, 2012â2016); President of RC 14 âSociology of Communication, Knowledge and Culture of the International Sociological Associationâ (2006â2010, 2010â2014, 2014â2018, 2018â2022, www.rc14-isa.com); member of the board of ISA-RC 13 âSociology of Leisureâ 2010â2014; member of organizational and scientific committees of many conferences in several countries such as Brazil, Canada, France, Greece, Italy, Morocco, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, etc. Editor/or member of the Scientific Committee of scientific journals (such as Sociétés, Socio-Anthropologie, Sociologies, OJSS, etc.). Amalia Frangiskou
is ResearcherâGrade Aâ Functional Scientific Personnelâin the National Centre for Social Research, since 1994. Master Degree in Communications Policy Studies from the City University of London. She also holds a Law Degree from the Law School of Athens University and a Diploma in Journalism from the Athens Institute for Professional Journalism.
Her research interests belong to the field of communication systems (policies, power, structures, transformation strategies, international interrelations), and their implications and the fields of social inclusion, minorities, institutional and legal integration framework, stereotypes through media, discrimination, structural inequalities of âinfo-com societyâ. She has been particularly involved in research methods such as content analysis, discourse analysis, semiotics, biographical interviews, semi structured interviews and focus groups.

Dimitra Laurence Larochelle
is PhD Candidate on Sociology of Media and Cultural Studies at the Communication Department of the University Sorbonne NouvelleâParis 3. She is currently working as a Research and Teaching assistant (ATER) at the University Sorbonne NouvelleâParis 3. She has two master degrees on Sociology (University Paris Descartes) and on Communication (French Institute of Journalism, Panthéon-Assas University). She has worked as a teaching staff at the University of Burgundy Franche-Comté, at Paris Descartes University, at Saint-Denis University and at the University Paris XII. She has published papers in French, in English and in Greek and she has worked as a researcher in France as well as in Cyprus. Since 2018 she is member of the board of the Research Committee 14 (Sociology of Communication, Knowledge and Culture) of the International Sociological Association and since 2019 she is Associate Editor of the Art and Culture International Magazine.
Debora Marcucci
is research collaborator at the University of Trento (Italy). She completed a MA on Linguistic Mediation in the Department of Humanities at the University of Trento and a short specialization programme on global marketing and communication. Her main research interests include intercultural communication, local and regional development, and cultural heritage.
Valentina Marinescu
is Professor Habilitated at the University of Bucharest, Romania. Her main research interests are communication and media studies in Eastern Europe, with a special focus on Romania.
Albertina Pretto
PhD, is a sociologist at the University of Trento (Italy). Her research interests focus on the study and development of qualitative methods and mixed methods, and on their application in different research areas such as the sense of belonging and related values and symbols.

Calliope Tsantali
is English Language Teacher and a certified Adult Educator. She holds a degree in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She completed her Postgraduate studies in Continuous Education and Lifelong Learning at the Open University of Cyprus. She is currently a Doctoral Candidate in Education Policy at the University of Western Macedonia. Her scientific interests focus on English Language Teaching Methodology, Adult Education, Technical and Vocational Education.
Joanna Tsiganou
is Director of Research at EKKE. She has been appointed as administrative and/or scientific director in many national and European research projects (more than 40) in the field of social institutions, law, crime and deviance, discrimination and social exclusion. She has been author and co-author of scientific journal articles and book chapters (more than 80) as well as of 26 books in Greek and English languages. She also teaches as invited professor at Panteion University, and Law School of Athens, post-graduate Studies in Criminology.
Vasilis Vamvakas
is Associate Professor at the department of Journalism and Mass Media of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His research interests lie in the areas of sociology of communication, popular culture and political communication. Books in Greek: Elections and communication in the post-dictatorship period. Eleni Zyga
is PhD Candidate on Sociology of Media at the Sociology Department of the Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, (Athens). She holds two master degrees on Social Exclusion and Human Rights (Panteion University, Athens) and on Health Informatics (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens).
