Henri Bah
holds a doctoral degree in philosophy and is a professor in the Department of Philosophy at Alassane Ouattara University of Bouaké, Côte d’Ivoire. He was a guest researcher at the University of Ottawa, Canada (2007–2008) and at the University of Toulouse le Mirail, France (2010). He is the author of several scientific publications and has edited two books, entitled Ethics and Family (Paris: Harmattan, 2011) and Frantz Fanon (Alger: Centre National de Recherches Préhistoriques, Anthropologiques et Historiques, 2011) respectively. His research interests include Metaphysics, Ethics, and Human Rights. He holds the membership of several research networks and is currently the chief of staff of the President of the University Alassane Ouattara in Côte d’Ivoire.
Siphamandla Zondi
received his BA and Higher Diploma in Education from the University of Durban-Westville in South Africa and later graduated with MPhil and DPhil in African Studies at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. Between 2000 and 2004, he co-ordinated the Africa Institute of South Africa (AISA)’s regional integration and sustainable development programmes. He then joined the Institute for Global Dialogue (IGD) as the head of the programme on African studies and South African Foreign Policy Analysis prior to his appointment as IGD’s Executive Director (2009–2016). He taught at the Thabo Mbeki African Leadership Institute (UNISA), the University of Johannesburg, and the University of North-West before his current position as a professor of political science at the University of Pretoria in South Africa.
André Mbata Betukumesu Mangu
studied law at the University of Kinshasa; Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). He proceeded with his studies at the University of South Africa (UNISA) where he was awarded the degrees of master (LLM) and doctor of laws (LLD). He is currently a Research Professor in the College of Law of UNISA and an Ordinary Professor in the Faculty of Law at the University of Kinshasa. He taught constitutional and human rights laws at the universities Paris 13, Paris Sud (France) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia). He has published numerous articles. He has also written and coedited several books on African constitutional law and politics. He is the editor-in-chief of the African Journal of Democracy and Governance, a member of CODESRIA’s executive committee, and a board member of the Social Science Research Council/African Peace building Network (SSRC-APN).
