Abbreviations generally follow those recommended in the SBL Handbook of Style, 2nd ed. (Atlanta: SBL Press, 2014) and the Internationales Abkürzungsverzeichnis für Theologie und Grenzgebiete 3rd ed. (Berlin: De Gruyter, 2013). For titles not found in either guide, abbreviations have been created following the rules on pages xiv–xvi of the latter.
