Forthcoming Series: Global Ancient Military History

Editor-in-Chief: Lee L. Brice

Warfare was among the major collective activities in which most ancient communities and complex societies engaged. The series Global Ancient Military History seeks to expand the geographic and chronological range of military history studies about the ancient world by taking a global perspective to the ancient world starting with the end of the Neolithic period. The geographic focus of this series is the entire populated ancient world, including Afro-Eurasia, the Americas, and Oceania (incl. Australia and the Pacific Islands). The chronological scope of the series is regionally defined since different areas experienced change at different rates. Accepted publications will include monographs, and edited volumes. Book proposals and finished manuscripts will be accepted for consideration.
