Forthcoming Series: Beneficial Microbes in Animal and Human Health

The book series Beneficial Microbes in Animal and Human Health (BMAH) aims to provide an overview of the latest scientific results and future developments in the area related to beneficial microbes and their effect on health in humans and animals. This includes effects of probiotic, prebiotic and postbiotics. Both from a fundamental scientific point of view as well as industrial application. Effects on various fields of host health are including, such as gut health, vaginal health, gut-brain axis, skin health, metabolic health, etc., in both humans and animals, sometimes with opposing goals. Use of (novel) statistical methods and artificial intelligence will be highlighted.
