DANIEL M. HAYBRON is Lecturer in philosophy at the University of Arizona in Tucson, United States. He recently completed a Ph.D. in philosophy at Rutgers University, New Brunswick, New Jersey. His dissertation addresses the nature and significance of happiness. His primary research interests are in ethics and the philosophy of psychology. His papers have appeared, or are forthcoming, in American Philosophical Quarterly, The Journal of Happiness Studies, Metaphilosophy, Minds and Machines, The Monist, and Philosophy and Phenomenological Research.
