Contemporary biblical interpretation comprises a creative and dynamic scholarly landscape in the humanities. This innovative book series offers readers an accessible gateway to the latest methodological conversations and resources shaping the multidisciplinary field of biblical interpretation.

Each book tackles particular contemporary questions and/or interpretive challenges at the intersection of biblical scholarship. Alongside rethinking critical categories and methods from history, archaeology, rhetoric, and literary analysis, authors in this series incorporate critical analysis of race and ethnicity, class and economy, gender and sexuality, nationality, geography, and ecology into their discussions.

Together with comprehensive, state-of-the art volumes, the series welcomes short form monographs of original research that open innovative pathways of inquiry and highlight emerging and distinctive voices within biblical studies.

Authors are cordially invited to submit proposals and/or full manuscripts to the publisher at BRILL, Alessandra Giliberto, or to the series editor, Davina C. Lopez.

Brill is in full support of Open Access publishing and offers the option to publish your monograph, edited volume, or chapter in Open Access.
